Meet Dr. George Oestreich
Dr. George L. Oestreich, PharmD, is the founder and principal consultant at G.L.O & Associates. With over four decades of professional experience, including more than three decades of leading G.L.O. & Associates, Dr. Oestreich has an extensive background in many areas pharmacy practice including clinical pharmacy, public health policy, and healthcare policy and delivery consulting.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, followed by a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Oestreich later completed his Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Kansas.
An Innovator in Improving Medicaid Pharmacy Programs
Dr. Oestreich has dedicated much of his career to public health policy, much of it at MO HealthNet, Missouri’s Medicaid agency. From 2001 to 2006, he served as the Director of Pharmacy before advancing to the position of Deputy Division Director for Clinical Services until 2011. During his tenure at the agency, he played a crucial role in implementing several initiatives, including:
- Enhanced maximum allowable pricing
- Supplemental rebate programs
- Physician-pharmacist disease management solutions
- High-tech patient information services and transparent prior authorization
- Improved care coordination services and patient services
These initiatives contributed to MO HealthNet achieving a positive return on investment and improved patient outcomes.
Meet Drew Oestreich
Drew Oestreich, MBA, ACE joined G.L.O. & Associates in 2009. Drew brings more than twenty years of experience in the industry working many aspects of retail pharmacy and partnering with pharmacies across Missouri to administer their Missouri Medicaid Federal Allowance (Provider Tax) program. As an Apexus 340B Certified Expert (ACE), Drew works with Covered Entities to perform audits and program reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and increase reimbursement opportunities. Together with George, Drew designed and manages the Missouri Medicaid Emergency Ground Ambulance Services’ Federal Reimbursement Allowance program as well.
Drew earned his Bachelor of Science from University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University. He is also a licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri.
Meet Dr. Kimberly Moore
Dr. Kimberly Moore, Pharm.D., MS, joined G.L.O. and Associates in September 2017 after an eight-year history in large-chain community pharmacies fulfilling her dispensing roles, streamlining pharmacy processes, and focusing on the implementation and management of pharmacist clinical services. Receiving her Pharm.D. from Saint Louis College of Pharmacy in 2009, Dr. Moore proceeded to earn her master’s degree in pharmacy with a focus on Precision Medicine from the University of Florida in 2022. Dr. Moore moved her dispensing role to clinic-based pharmacies in 2020 while continuing her consulting work. Some of her current consulting roles include helping pharmacies build, market, and bill for their non-dispensing services and monitoring Missouri laws and regulations to flag and comment on pieces important to pharmacists.
Meet Angie Johnson
Angie joined G.L.O. & Associates in 2015, where she has consistently provided high-level administrative and analytical support. She meticulously oversees office operations, ensuring that all tasks for clients are executed efficiently and within established timelines. Angie’s role is pivotal in maintaining the seamless functionality of G.L.O. & Associates. Her prior experience as a pharmacy technician has contributed to the expertise she applies in her current position.
